Keep your workspace close and receive notifications while the window is closed. Sign in with the same Crest account you use on the web or mobile.
Windows

Download for WindowsOpen the installer, then sign in. Installation is for your Windows account. This release does not yet have a verified Windows publisher certificate, so Windows may show a publisher warning.
macOS
Version 0.4.1 · macOS 12 or later
Open the DMG and drag Crest into Applications, then open Crest and sign in. In Apple menu → About This Mac, “Chip” means Apple Silicon; “Processor” with Intel means Intel. Signed with Developer ID and notarized by Apple.
Stay connected
Closing the window keeps Crest in your system tray or Mac menu bar. Notifications require a signed-in account, an internet connection, and your computer to be awake.
Make room for focus
Open Desktop settings from the Crest icon to pause alerts, set quiet hours, or group updates. Use Ctrl + / − on Windows or ⌘ + / − on Mac. Ctrl 0 or ⌘ 0 restores 100%.
Update inside Crest
Crest checks for updates and verifies their signatures. When an update is ready, save your work and choose Install update & restart in Desktop settings.
