Section 01
Agreement
These Terms govern your access to and use of Crest at crestcloud.app, the Crest web application, and the Crest mobile app (together, the “Service”). By signing in or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Crest on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind it.
Section 02
Accounts and access
- Accounts are created by invitation from a workspace Owner or Administrator. There is no public self-signup.
- Provide accurate information and keep your password and devices secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Tell your workspace Owner and us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
- Your role determines what you can see and do. Attempting to bypass permissions is a breach of these Terms.
Section 03
Your data
Your organization retains all rights to the records, documents, and content it puts into Crest (“Customer Data”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Customer Data only as needed to provide and secure the Service.
Financial, contractual, stock, document-version, and audit records are append-only by design. They are corrected by void, reverse, or supersede and cannot be hard-deleted, even by an Owner. You acknowledge this is a core feature of the Service.
Section 04
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service unlawfully, or to store content you have no right to hold.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or interfere with other tenants or the infrastructure.
- Reverse engineer, resell, or provide the Service to third parties outside your organization.
- Upload malware, or send spam through the invitation or notification features.
- Enter another person's personal data without a lawful basis to do so.
Section 05
Third-party integrations
Crest can connect to Google Drive, Notion, and email (SMTP) when you enable them. These services are governed by their own terms. You are responsible for connecting only accounts and content you are permitted to connect.
Our use of data from Google is described in the Google user data section of the Privacy Policy and follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Section 06
Availability and changes
We work to keep Crest available and will try to give notice of planned maintenance, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may improve, change, or retire features. If a change materially reduces core functionality for a paying customer, we will give reasonable notice.
Section 07
Fees
Pricing is agreed per customer, as described on the pricing page. Fees, billing cycles, and taxes are set out in your order form or agreement and are not changed retroactively.
Section 08
Intellectual property
Crest, its software, design, and branding belong to us and our licensors. Except for the right to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are transferred. Feedback you send us may be used to improve the Service without obligation.
Section 09
Suspension and termination
You may stop using Crest at any time; workspace Owners can request closure. We may suspend or end access that violates these Terms, threatens security, or is required by law, and will give notice where practical.
On termination we will return or delete Customer Data on request, subject to records we must lawfully retain, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Section 10
Warranty disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Crest supports business decisions but is not legal, accounting, or tax advice.
Section 11
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Section 12
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Disputes will be brought in the courts of Manila, unless your agreement with us says otherwise.
Section 13
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms and will revise the “Last updated” date; continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it. Questions: privacy@crestcloud.app.
